For the second consecutive day, Washington State University freshman Jeshua Anderson ran the fastest time in the men's 400m hurdles by clocking in with a time of 49.90 seconds in the semifinal heats Thursday at the 12th Annual International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) World Junior Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

Waltz and Lagat Win Their Events at Olympic Trials
Washington State graduates Ian Waltz and Bernard Lagat won their events Sunday on the warm and blustery final day of the USA Olympic Trials at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Both will return to the Olympic Games, Waltz for the second time and Lagat for the third time.

Jeffreys and Lagat Advance at Olympic Trials
Jon Jeffreys, a 2008 Washington State graduate, qualified for the men's javelin final with his 11th place finish in the qualifying round, and Bernard Lagat advanced to the final of the men's 1500m Friday night at the USA Olympic Trials at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
