During the Aloha Bowl season, Broussard rushed for 1,280 yards to rank seventh nationally, first in the Pac-10 and second on the WSU all-time list. Broussard became the second player in conference history to lead the league in receiving one year and rushing the next. In 1987, Broussard had 59 receptions for 701 yards.

The 20th anniversary of the Aloha Bowl season will be commemorated during this Saturday's game against California, and members of the 1988 WSU team will be in attendance for the game.
