Allison Scurich Named Cougar Assistant Soccer Coach

June 20, 2008

PULLMAN, Wash. - Allison Scurich, a four-year letterwinner for the Washington State University women's soccer team, has joined the Cougar coaching staff as an assistant, head coach Matt Potter announced, Friday.

Scurich, a defender for the Cougars from 2004-07, finished her career at WSU with seven goals, including three-game winners, and three assists. She played in 73 matches, tied for eighth-best in Cougar history, and started 70 matches, tied for 11th on the WSU all-time list.

"Allison was a big part of our program as a student-athlete and she will be an even bigger part as an assistant coach," Potter said. "She brings a tremendous amount of passion to the field and her knowledge of our system will be a terrific asset."
