Cougar Volleyball Adds Trio to 2008 Season
7/11/2008 ~ Washington State University Head Coach Andrew Palileo announced the addition of two collegiate transfers and a high school player to the Cougar women's volleyball team for the 2008 season. Joining the Cougars this fall are Emily Rooney, a 6-1 senior middle blocker from Red Wing, Minn., Renee Bordelon, a 5-10 junior setter from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and Brianne Flach, a 5-7 freshman defensive specialist/libero from Shabbona, Ill.

Recent Washington State University graduate Tara West will play volleyball with the Australian National Team in the 2008 Abu Dhabi International Women's Volleyball Tournament May 21-28, at the Al Jazira indoor stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Cougar Volleyball Wraps Up 2007 Season with Pac-10 Win
he Washington State volleyball team won a tough five-game match against Oregon State Nov. 23, to finish the 2007 season with a 10-22 overall record, 1-17 in Pacific-10 Conference action...after starting the season with six consecutive wins, the Cougars took on some tough, NCAA-bound non-conference teams prior to the always tough and highly-ranked Pac-10 opponents...going winless in the 20 matches, the Cougars sent off three seniors - setter Maureen Perez, MB Tara West, and OH Adetokunbo Faleti - with a 3-2 win over Oregon State.
